Heated De-iced Total Air Temperature Sensors

Heated De-iced Total Air Temperature Sensors

Since the late 1990s, Auxitrol Weston has developed unique expertise in measuring temperature in icing conditions. Our heated aerospace temperature sensors are used across major engine programs for inlet and compressor temperature measurement, as well as for measuring Total Air Temperature in aircraft air data systems. These advanced aerospace temperature sensors are trusted for their accuracy, reliability, and performance in harsh operating environments.

Our experts have a deep understanding of recent certification requirements for icing conditions. Each aerospace temperature sensor is developed and tested in our in-house, state-of-the-art icing wind tunnel that meets the latest standards for icing conditions, supported by advanced numeric analysis tools. The body of the sensor is made from our patented RoHS-compliant material.

Each de-iced temperature sensor is customized through close collaboration with the customer to ensure optimal performance and effective de-icing tailored to the application. These aerospace temperature sensors are available in a variety of shapes to suit their mounting location or engine size, in single or dual channel configurations, with or without a pressure port, and in both AC and DC versions.
